About Breanish Tweed

Breanish Tweed is a family business based on the Island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. We hand weave lightweight tweed - shetland wool, lambswool, cashmere. We use 100% pure natural yarns, all dyed and spun in Scotland.

From our mill on the island we supply cloth to the best bespoke tailors and fashion houses in the world - from Savile Row to 5th Avenue, from Vienna to Tokyo.

BREANISH MILL

We only sell to trade, although it is possible to buy special and rare tweeds if you visit us at our premises on the Island of Lewis, Scotland. 

You can also take in a weaving display and see how your tweed is made. Click on 'read more' for directions and contact details. This is our view of the Minch and the mountains of the Scottish mainland.
